Brandberg and Desert Eco Tour

 The Brandberg being the highest mountain in Namibia is a huge Granite inselberg which reaches a height of 2573m.  Like the Spitzkoppe it supports similar species, but with a better chance of seeing Benguella Long-billed Lark and Herero Chat. There are also many interesting reptiles and the scenery is spectacular.

Full Day Tour – Birding & Desert Eco tour :  07:00-15:00 (approximately 8 hours)

Highlights: Birds of prey like Martial Eagle, Lappet-faced Vulture, Lanner Falcon and Greater Kestrel.  Other specials like Benguella Long-billed Lark, Herero Chat, Rüppell’s Korhaan can also be found here.  The more common species to be seen here are Red-headed Finch, Fiscal Shrike, Chat Flycatcher, Karroo Chat, Mountain Chat(Wheatear), Lark-like Bunting and Namaqua Sandgrouse.  Wildlife like springbok, meerkat, ostrich may be also encountered.  The entire area lends itself to great Photographic opportunities with spectacular landscapes and rock formations.
